Maria Bastasch is a queer artist, designer, and certified wellness practitioner known for creating immersive spaces where art, wellness, and celebration converge.

Raised in her family’s organic bakery, Maria developed a deep understanding of the link between what we consume and how we feel. This foundation inspired her career in hospitality, where she led award-winning beverage programs spotlighting social justice wines and alcohol-optional innovations. After a Lupus diagnosis in 2019, Maria shifted her focus to holistic health, earning certifications in herbalism and holistic wellness.

Maria is the creator of Disco Mary, a pop-up redefining nightlife with vibrant, plant-based cocktails that merge hospitality with wellness, and co-founder of the Mindful Drinking Fest, the largest U.S. event celebrating conscious consumption and community. Her groundbreaking work has been featured in Food & Wine, NPR, Washington Post, and AFAR.
